The Challenge

Scorer needed a complete rebuild of their soccer analytics app to compete with established players in the market. The key requirement was sub-second live score updates with comprehensive match statistics and AI-powered predictions.

Real-Time Requirements

Sports betting users demand instant updates. Even a 2-second delay in live scores can impact user trust and engagement. The app needed to handle thousands of concurrent matches with minimal latency.

Our Solution

We built SokkerPro 2.0 from the ground up using Flutter for cross-platform mobile development and Django for the backend. The real-time infrastructure uses WebSockets for push-based updates with automatic fallback to polling.

Data Pipeline Architecture

We designed a high-throughput data pipeline that ingests live match data from multiple providers, normalizes it, and distributes to connected clients within milliseconds. Redis handles the pub/sub layer for efficient message distribution.

AI Predictions Engine

The prediction system analyzes historical match data, team form, head-to-head records, and real-time match events to generate win probability and score predictions. Models are retrained weekly with new match data.

Proprietary Features

We developed the PBar (Pressure Bar) algorithm — a proprietary visual indicator showing which team dominates the match in real-time. We also built a custom bot system allowing users to create and validate their own strategies during live matches, plus an advanced search engine for filtering games by specific statistical criteria.
